Meet the Team
Martin F M Eynaud, FCCA, MCIM
Martin is the Managing Director and co-principle of Melwoods Chartered Certified Accountants. He is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management. Martin has a wide range of experience in the commercial and general practice field, both in the UK and Europe. Prior to developing Melwoods practice, he sat on several company boards specialising in the IT sector market in UK and Europe where he still has a strong involvement.
Martin is a professional tax specialist with international and UK experience in the contractor service industry. He also heads up the Taxation department of the practice and is responsible for all practice affairs. In addition to offering his wealth of experience to the service industry on a non executive basis, he focuses his efforts on clients maximizing their income, business development and general accountancy and taxation matters.
Chris Cullen MAAT – Accounts Manager – Outsource accounting
Chris is a qualified accounting technician and full member of the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) as well as a student member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). He started working for Melwoods in February 2006, to support some of our largest clients, having moved from a sales and project implementation background. Chris heads up our outsourcing accounts division and overseas the running of the office. Chris is also responsible for several large external accounts, client bookkeeping, preparation of statutory accounts and assists in personal tax returns.
Dipen Mandalia BA (Hons) – Accounts Assistant – Outsource accounting
Dipen is currently a student member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) studying towards his final exams at the professional stage. He joined Melwoods in July 2010 and was brought on board to support the team with external clients as well as the in-house bookkeeping. He joined us having previously worked for another firm of accountants for 2 years, which he joined straight from finishing university. Dipen is responsible for the in-house bookkeeping, VAT returns, statutory accounts production, for many of our clients as well as servicing several of our external clients.
Phil Moloney – Payroll Accountant – Umbrella division
Phil joined Melwoods in February 2008 and is currently in the intermediate stage of his AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification. Phil is responsible for the company’s contractor umbrella payroll services in addition to client’s payroll and bookkeeping services. Any payroll or contractor matters come under his responsibility.
